A building products supplier built from the field up

Paris co-founded Axiom South with David Sullivan and Summer Shedarowich in July 2026 after five years as director of sales and operations at a specialty building materials supplier in Foley, Alabama, focused on cable railing, aluminum railing systems and fencing.

That job covered the whole cycle from first call to delivered order: site visits with homeowners, general contractors, architects and builders, scaled drawings, material lists, purchasing, vendor negotiations and delivery coordination. Paris was also the company’s main technical resource on aluminum railing configuration and specification for residential and commercial projects.

In 2026 Paris finished a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Oregon State University, magna cum laude, completed at night while working full time.

At Axiom South, Paris runs vendor relationships, product selection, design consultations, quoting and order fulfillment, and led the site selection and buildout of the Spanish Fort showroom.

David started out on boats. He trained at the Marine Mechanics Institute, part of Universal Technical Institute, and is a Mercury Certified Outboard Technician. On the water he learned what salt, sun and constant exposure do to metal, fasteners and seals.

His technical training covers mechanics, electrical wiring and construction: how parts, materials and hardware work together, and how to troubleshoot them when they don’t. Waterfront decks, docks and railings face the same conditions as a boat, and David applies that experience to every system we supply, from the grade of stainless to the hardware that holds it together, so what we sell holds up on the Gulf Coast.

David was there every step of the way in founding Axiom South in 2026, alongside Summer and Paris, his best friend of almost a decade.

Today he works side by side with Paris on sales, business development, vendor relationships, product selection, design consultations, quoting and order fulfillment, and he manages customer relationships from the first call through delivery.

“Salt doesn’t care what the spec sheet says. If a fitting is going to fail on a boat, it will fail on a dock too, so I would rather catch it before it ships.”

Summer brings more than 35 years of commercial and leadership experience, with senior roles spanning sales, marketing, finance and international business development.

Her career includes VP and Director-level responsibility in the flavor and medical device industries: developing international markets, building customer and supplier relationships, managing budgets, evaluating financial performance and driving profitable growth. She also played a significant role in the sale of a company at a 23x EBITDA multiple.

Summer holds a Master’s degree in Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Summer helped found Axiom South in 2026 alongside Paris and David, and she leads the company’s finance and marketing.
