Trex RainEscape
Trex RainEscape is an under-deck drainage system of troughs, gutters and downspouts that keeps the space below a raised deck dry for homeowners and deck builders.
About Trex RainEscape
Turning the area under a second-story deck into usable space starts with keeping water out. Trex RainEscape is an under-deck drainage system: troughs mount between the joists, then gutters and downspouts carry the water away. The result is a dry space below and a substructure that is better protected from moisture.
The components come in Brown or Black. An optional RainEscape Soffit Light adds plug-and-play LED lighting that mounts with two steel tension spring clips, and Trex Seal Ledger Flashing Tape and Sub-Ledger Tape help seal the ledger board. RainEscape is backed by a 25-year limited warranty from Trex. Step-by-step installation videos are posted at trexrainescape.com/installation.
Typical projects include covered patios with ceiling fans, an outdoor kitchen or an entertainment area under the deck. When you request a quote, send the deck footprint, joist size and spacing, the color, downspout locations and any soffit lights or ledger tape you want. Axiom South supplies the materials and ships to all 50 states.
