Oxford SafeGate
Oxford SafeGate is a portable 3 or 4-gate HDPE manhole guard barrier with reflective markings, for manhole repairs, telecoms street works and temporary excavations.
About Oxford SafeGate
Open manholes and small excavations need a quick, visible guard. Oxford SafeGate is a portable barrier of HDPE gates that set up around the opening, with an integral locking bar to hold the shape.
The 3-gate barrier is 39 in high by 29.5 in long and weighs 13 lb. The 4-gate barrier is 39 in by 30 in at 18 lb. Gates come in red or yellow with reflective markings, and black SafeBase feet (3 x 13 x 13 in, 6 lb) add stability. Per Oxford Plastics, a 4-gate square on four SafeBases resists wind up to 60 mph. Replacement clips, a lapping bar and extra SafeBase feet are available.
Utility crews use SafeGate for manhole repairs, telecoms street works and temporary excavations. For a quote, send the number of barriers, 3 or 4-gate configuration, color and SafeBase count. Axiom South ships nationwide.
