Catalyst Aluminum Spear & Decorative Top
Catalyst aluminum spear-top fence comes in straight or staggered profiles and grades from Standard to Imperial for security, pool, high-wind and decorative settings.
About Catalyst Aluminum Spear & Decorative Top
Catalyst's screwed aluminum spear-top fence, the Newcastle collection that replaced Barrette's spear-top style, comes in straight or staggered spear profiles. It is a common choice for pool areas and high-wind sites, and it fits neoclassical, decorative settings as well as security applications. Check local pool code requirements before ordering.
Grade sets the frame size. Premium and Select (and their XD versions) use a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 in rail and 3/4 in picket. Standard uses a 1 x 1-1/8 in rail and 5/8 in picket. Municipal uses 1 x 1-1/2 in rails with 3/4 in pickets, Industrial 1-1/2 in square rails with 1 in pickets, and Imperial 1-3/4 in rails with 1 in pickets. Heights run 3 to 8 ft, with 7 and 8 ft limited to Municipal, Industrial and Imperial. Widths are 6 ft or 8 ft by grade. Colors include Black, Bronze, White and four premium shades, with SolarGuard fade resistance.
