About Modern V-Groove Paneling
Modern V-Groove is made for interiors. The boards are engineered clear pine, so there are no knots to fill, and they arrive with a factory white primer ready for a topcoat on site. The V-groove joint gives a clean line between boards on walls and ceilings.
Sizes are 1×6 (11/16 x 5-3/8 in.) and 1×8 (11/16 x 7-1/8 in.), both in 12 ft lengths. Common projects include interior ceilings, fireplace and bedroom accent walls, and full rooms where paneling replaces drywall.
Woodtone specifies interior use only: store the material dry and never outdoors, acclimate it for 5 to 7 days, and apply the finish coat on site. For a quote, measure the wall or ceiling square footage, choose 1×6 or 1×8, and allow for waste around openings and fixtures.
