Pine River Group

Pine River Group products come from the Biewer family of lumber companies, a fourth-generation, family-owned business headquartered in St. Clair, Michigan. The group runs its own sawmills producing spruce-pine-fir and Southern Yellow Pine, along with treating plants in Michigan and Wisconsin and sawmills in Michigan and Mississippi. That vertical integration, from the log to the finished treated board, is the foundation of its fencing and decking lines.

The product lines center on pressure-treated wood for outdoor use. Pier Advantage is appearance-grade Southern Yellow Pine dock and deck planking with ground contact treatment, eased edges and stress-relief grooves that help reduce cupping, and it is made for docks, piers, boardwalks and decks. PRO Pickets are treated dog-ear fence pickets made with contractors in mind, and ColorPRO pickets arrive pre-stained from the factory, saving a finishing step on residential fence jobs.
