Ameristar DS22 & DS25 Bollards

For perimeters that call for a permanent vehicle barrier, Ameristar offers two fixed, deep-mount bollards with Department of State ratings. The DS22 is rated K12, an M50 equivalent of 15,000 lb at 50 mph, and the DS25 is rated K4.

Because both bollards are fixed and deep mounted, they are meant for locations where the line of protection will not need to open for vehicles. Mixing models lets a designer use the higher-rated DS22 where the threat assessment requires it and the DS25 elsewhere along the same perimeter.

Security engineers, architects and general contractors specify these anti-ram bollards around building frontages, entrances and other perimeter zones that require crash-rated protection. When you request a quote, send the model and rating required, the number of bollards, the spacing shown on the drawings, any finish or sleeve requirements, and the project location.
