Ameristar Defender
Ameristar Defender is an automatic, hydraulically raised retractable anti-ram bollard listed as K4 (M30) that retracts flush with the roadway at changing access points.
About Ameristar Defender
At entrances where vehicle access changes through the day, a fixed bollard is not enough. The Ameristar Defender is an automatic retractable bollard that rises hydraulically to block vehicles and retracts flush with the roadway so pedestrians and approved vehicles can pass freely.
Defender is listed as K4 (M30), and Ameristar describes it as offering its highest available cycle duties, which suits entrances that open and close often. The open bollard design keeps the entrance looking clear rather than closed off. Finishes include black with white stripes, galvanized, yellow, stainless steel and cream.
Security consultants, architects and facility managers specify Defender at access points where pathway access changes often. Quotes are built from the project details, so send the number of bollards, finish, opening layout, control requirements and site drawings when you request pricing from us.
