About Ameristar Model 303 Bollard
Per Ameristar, the Model 303 is certified to ASTM F2656-18a M30/P1, stopping a 15,000 lb vehicle at 30 mph with under 3 ft of penetration. It is built for sites that need both perimeter security and day-to-day traffic control.
Two operating versions are available. The hydraulic model is PLC controlled from the hydraulic power unit, with normal operation in 5 to 8 seconds and an emergency fast operation of 1.5 to 2 seconds. The manual spring assist model suits locations without power or with constant monitoring.
Typical sites include government facilities, military installations, industrial sites, data centers, stadiums and petrochemical plants.
