About Distinction
Distinction is Envision's luxury composite decking. Boards are built with Compress Technology, an EverGrain core under a high-density cap, and each one carries a deep, variegated grain with bold color variation so the deck reads like exotic hardwood rather than a repeating print.
Standard colors are Grey Wood, Rustic Walnut, Shaded Auburn and Spiced Teak. Four more, Hampton Dunes, Seaside Pier, Nantucket Shore and Rockaway Beach, use Cool Tread Technology, which Envision states runs up to 25% cooler with up to 33% better traction and up to 61% less moisture absorption than average leading competitor full-profile boards. Boards are 7/8 x 5-1/2 in. actual, square or grooved edge, in 12, 16 and 20 ft lengths. Envision lists 16 in. joist spacing at 90 degrees.
Fastening options include E-Clips for grooved boards, color-match screws or Pro Plugs for square edge, and DeckFast for fascia, with matching 12 in. skirting.
