Walk & Pedestrian Gates

Pedestrian gates give people a way through a fence without opening a drive gate. They are built in steel, aluminum, chain link, ornamental metal and wood, so the walk gate can match the fence around it.

On commercial chain link jobs, the pre-hung Series 8000 walk gate is a common option because it arrives hung in its frame. For ornamental fence, Monumental Iron Works walk gates come in straight and arched styles, with openings up to 8 ft. Compatible D&D hinges, latches and closers are available to complete the gate.

Hardware choice matters, especially around pools and other safety areas where self-closing hinges and self-latching hardware may be needed. Check local code for your application. To quote a walk gate, send the opening width, fence height, material and style, finish color, and the hinge, latch and closer you want. Axiom South provides itemized quotes and ships to all 50 states.
