LiftMaster monitored resistive edges are aluminum-channel safety edges for gate operators, IP65 rated and, per LiftMaster, designed to meet UL 325, in large and small profiles from 4 to 6 ft.
About LiftMaster Safety Devices (Edges, Loop Detectors, Sensors)
Sensing edges are a common way to add monitored entrapment protection along the edge of an automated gate. LiftMaster's monitored resistive edges use an aluminum channel, mount vertically or horizontally, carry an IP65 rating and meet UL 325, per the manufacturer. They operate from -40 to 65 C.
Large profile edges come in 4 ft (L504AL), 5 ft (L505AL) and 6 ft (L506AL) lengths, and small profile edges come in 4 ft (S504AL) and 6 ft (S506AL). The S50E ends kit finishes the edge. Related items include the G714167NH plug-in loop detector board and the PRE-SENSOR trailer presence sensor, which is for the DDO8900W dock door operator only.
