About TimberTech Hidden Fasteners
Choosing a TimberTech hidden fastener starts with two questions: is the board PVC or composite, and is the edge grooved or square-shouldered? TimberTech matches each fastener to board type, and using the correct one matters for warranty coverage.
For PVC square-shoulder boards, the options are Cortex, the SIDELoc Guide and SIDELoc pack, TOPLoc and TOPLoc Fascia. PVC grooved boards use CONCEALoc with CONCEALoc replacement screws. Composite square-shoulder boards use Cortex for Composite, TOPLoc and TOPLoc for Fascia & Riser, while composite grooved boards use CONCEALoc or EDGELoc. SIDELoc needs no pre-drilling and sets a 1/8 in gap. CONCEALoc can be driven pneumatically or with a drill. Stainless steel screws are available for CONCEALoc replacement and the SIDELoc Guide.
