Terrain (Composite)
TimberTech Terrain is capped composite decking with a scalloped board in Brown Oak and Silver Maple, for residential and commercial decks near pools and lakes.
About Terrain (Composite)
Terrain keeps the TimberTech four-sided cap in a straightforward package: a scalloped board in two colors, Brown Oak and Silver Maple. It is a practical pick for builders who want full capping and Mold Guard protection on a simpler palette.
The cap contains no wood fibers, and Mold Guard technology covers the board bottom. Terrain is made in the USA with about 85% recycled content and is low maintenance. Boards are 5.36 x 0.94 in., square-shoulder in 16 and 20 ft and grooved in 12, 16 and 20 ft, with 12 ft fascia (0.58 x 11.95 in.) and risers (0.58 x 7.25 in.). TimberTech lists Class C flame spread; Terrain is not Ignition Resistant or WUI compliant.
Grooved boards fasten with CONCEALoc and square-shoulder boards with TOPLoc face screws. Cortex is not compatible with Terrain's scalloped boards. TimberTech does not recommend it for docks, pointing to its Advanced PVC lines instead, and it is not offered in porch or cladding formats. Coverage is 30-year Product and Fade and Stain Limited Warranties. For a quote, list area, color, profile and lengths.
