WeatherStrong preset islands are ready-to-order outdoor kitchen islands in seven sizes, from a 50 in. grill station to a 126 in. island with a grill, side burner, and refrigerator. Each one arrives with assembled cabinets, a countertop, and hardware, and most include a Jupiter grill. They are a good fit when you want a straight-run island without a custom design process, and we supply and quote them like any other WeatherStrong order.

WeatherStrong offers seven preset island sizes.

The number in each name is the island’s approximate width. Here is what WeatherStrong lists for each preset:

90 in. BaysideJupiter 32 in.NoYes
126 in. BreakwaterJupiter 32 in.YesYes

For scale, the Surf measures 50-1/2 in. wide by 29-1/2 in. deep, and the Breakwater measures 126-1/2 in. wide by 29-1/2 in. deep. The Breakwater’s cabinet run includes a 48 in. grill base, a propane storage cabinet, and an 18 in. side burner base. The Lagoon has no appliances. WeatherStrong positions it as a prep and storage base for spaces that do not need a grill.

Every preset arrives assembled with a countertop and hardware.

The cabinets come fully assembled. On site, they are screwed together with the supplied stainless screws, leveled on adjustable stainless legs, and topped with the countertop. Here is what to expect:

  • Countertop: WeatherTop in Glacier Frost, an outdoor-rated resin composite with a marble-inspired look and a 1 in. mitered edge. WeatherStrong describes it as heat, UV, and scratch resistant.
  • Seams: larger islands may have one or more countertop seams, and the top may arrive in multiple pieces.
  • Adhesive: the countertop is set with outdoor-rated construction adhesive, which is not included.
  • Hardware: stainless steel hinges, drawer glides, handles, and legs.
  • Instructions: WeatherStrong provides an installation PDF for each island.

Like granite or quartz, the WeatherTop surface can scorch or discolor if a hot pan touches it, so plan on trivets.

Preset islands come in two door styles and six finishes.

WeatherStrong offers its preset islands with the Sanibel or Miami door style. Both are built from solid HDPE with color that runs all the way through. The finish choices are:

  • Shell White
  • Shoreline Gray
  • Sapphire Blue
  • Pitch Black
  • Teak
  • Dark Ash

WeatherStrong’s full cabinetry line also includes Daytona and Tampa doors. If you want one of those, or a layout the presets do not cover, a custom WeatherStrong design is the route, and we can quote that too.

The included appliances are Jupiter models.

Every preset except the Lagoon includes the Jupiter 32 in. Classic grill, and the larger islands add a side burner, a refrigerator, or both. WeatherStrong lists these specs:

  • Jupiter 32 in. Classic grill: 4 burners, 48,000 BTU, 533 sq. in. of cooking space, and piezo ignition.
  • Jupiter 15 in. double side burner: 24,000 BTU and 196 sq. in.
  • Jupiter outdoor-approved refrigerator: 4.1 cu. ft.
  • Jackets and covers: an insulating jacket and a cover come with the grill and the side burner.

The grill ships set up for propane (tank not included) with a natural gas conversion kit in the box. WeatherStrong recommends a licensed professional for gas connections, and we agree. Confirm gas line and venting requirements with your local building department, since local amendments vary.

Know the warranty before you buy.

Two conditions can void cabinet coverage: running a grill or side burner without its insulating jacket, and painting or modifying the cabinets. WeatherStrong’s warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, so ask us about commercial projects before you order.

When a preset fits and when to go custom.

A preset is usually the right call when:

  • You want a straight, freestanding run against a wall or on a patio.
  • The Jupiter grill and appliance package suits how you cook.
  • You want a fixed configuration that is easy to quote and order.

Go custom when you need an L-shape or U-shape, a sink, a raised bar, a specific grill brand, or cabinets sized to an existing space. None of the presets lists a sink, so plan on a custom layout if you want one.

How ordering through Axiom South works.

  1. Tell us about the space. Send the available length and depth, photos, whether the area is covered, and your gas type.

  3. Get a written quote. Most quotes go out within 1 to 2 business days, and we confirm current lead time and freight on the quote. WeatherStrong states its islands are built to order and ship within 10 business days.
  4. Delivery and setup. We ship to all 50 states. You or your contractor set the island, and a licensed professional handles gas and electrical work.
