About Deckorators Summit (Surestone)
Summit brings a quieter, low-gloss look to the Surestone family. Its vertical-grain surface adds traction, it is barefoot friendly and designed to reduce heat buildup, and it is fully submersible for ground or water installation. Deckorators describes it as about 35% lighter than traditional composite boards and states it will not splinter, sag, chalk or crack.
The palette is Glacier, Boulder and Cliffside. Grooved-edge boards are 5-1/2 in. wide in 12, 16 and 20 ft lengths; solid-edge boards come in 16 and 20 ft, and 11-1/4 in. x 12 ft fascia finishes the rim. Coverage is a 25-year limited structural and 25-year limited stain and fade warranty.
Summit works on backyard, front-entry and multi-tier decks, pool and hot tub surrounds, and lake houses. Grooved boards take StealthLock or Stowaway hidden fasteners; stairs and perimeter boards use Pro plugs. For a quote, provide deck square footage, color, edge type, lengths and fascia footage.
