About Fortress Evolution Tile Tray
Tile on a deck needs a flat, drained base, and that is the job of the Fortress Evolution Tile Deck Tray. Each tray is 4 ft long and 6 in wide and mounts on top of Evolution steel joists set 12 or 16 in on center, giving a surface for exterior tile pavers or a mix of tile and deck boards.
The tray provides fall-through protection and drainage and works with any exterior tile. It will not rot, warp or split. Per Fortress, it is noncombustible and Class A fire rated, and it carries a 25-year limited manufacturer warranty.
A tile paver deck gives a raised deck the look of a stone or porcelain patio. The tray is part of the Evolution framing system, so it is typically ordered with the joists.
