Miller Edge Wireless Edge Systems
Miller Edge RBand wireless edge systems carry a sensing-edge signal from a moving gate or door to its operator without hard wiring across the leaf.
About Miller Edge Wireless Edge Systems
Running wire to a sensing edge on a moving gate leaf is one of the harder parts of a safety retrofit. Miller Edge RBand replaces that wire with a transmitter on the leaf and a receiver at the operator. The link is bi-directional, with automatic channel switching and transmitter power adjustment for better resistance to radio interference, and on-board diagnostics help with setup. RBand is a RBand is a UL 325 Recognized Component, per Miller Edge, per the manufacturer.
Receivers include the RB-G-K10C (10K normally-closed output, 10K T2 monitored edge input), the RB-P-K10C (pulsed normally-open output, 10K T2 input) and the RB-P-K20 (pulsed normally-open output, diode-capacitor T3 input). The outdoor-rated RB-TX10 transmitter pairs with the RB-G-K10 (up to six, two channels) or RB-P-K10 (up to three, one channel), and the RB-TX20 pairs with the RB-P-K20. Each transmitter uses two 3.6V AA lithium batteries. Miller Edge lists a 2-year warranty.
RBand is intended for door operators made after August 2010 and gate operators made after January 2016. For a quote, send the operator model, edge type and edge count per leaf.

Features
- Easy to configure
- Bi-directional link improves immunity to RF interference
- On-board diagnostics for setup and troubleshooting
- Receiver works with up to three wireless transmitters per channel (model dependent)
- UL 325 Recognized Component
- Legacy non-monitored systems (MWRT, MWR and AW14 series) are for older operators made before August 2010 (doors) or January 2016 (gates); RBand is for newer operators
- MWRT12B / MWR22B-series transmitters have a standard NEMA 4 weather-proof enclosure and clear receiver and transmitter cases for easy troubleshooting
- Optional audible alarm on MWT/MWRT 'A' models sounds when the battery has 25% of its life remaining
- AW14-RF-K10: air-pressure diaphragm transmitter for air-wave sensing edges; operates up to 100 ft depending on conditions; adjustable sensitivity; for motorized doors
- 2-year warranty on the MWRT12B, MWR22B / MWT12B and related single- and two-channel systems
