HySecurity StrongArm M30/M50
HySecurity StrongArm M30 and M50 are crash-rated hydraulic barrier arms for critical infrastructure and HVM access points, with clear openings from 12 to 24 ft.
About HySecurity StrongArm M30/M50
StrongArm M30 and M50 combine traffic control with vehicle stopping capability at critical infrastructure and hostile vehicle mitigation access points. Per the manufacturer, they are rated ASTM F2656 M30-P1 and M50-P2 at a 12 ft clear opening.
Clear openings run from 12 to 24 ft in 2 ft steps, and the arm opens to 90 degrees. The powered models use a 2 hp hydraulic drive with 6-8 second open/close and 100 cycles per hour. M30 NP and M50 NP versions are no-power, manual units with the same ratings. Finishes are powder coat or hot-dip galvanized, and options include heating and cooling, a monitored photo eye, LED arm lighting, HyInverter AC backup, ExtremeCycle and a continuous duty option.
Because crash ratings are tied to specific configurations, confirm the required rating and opening against the project specs. For a quote, list clear opening, rating, powered or manual, finish and options.
