About US Premier Tube Mills PT 40 Commercial and Industrial Fence Pipe
PT 40 is US Premier Tube Mills' heavy-duty chain link fence pipe, formed from hot rolled steel with a 50,000 psi minimum yield. It is rated 37 percent stronger and 21 percent lighter than Schedule 40 pipe. It is made in the USA from 100 percent domestic steel, which matters on school, utility and municipal projects that call for Buy America(n) material.
Posts come in 1.900, 2.375, 2.875, 3.500 and 4.000 in O.D., with 1.660 in top rail. A triple-layer coating of zinc, conversion coat and clear sealed top coat protects the outside, and the inside is zinc coated before forming. PT 40 is manufactured to ASTM F1043 Group IC, A500 Grade B and A653.
