Miller Edge

Miller Edge is a family-owned American manufacturer of safety sensing products for doors, gates and industrial automation. Its history goes back to 1937, when Norman K. Miller and his brothers founded Miller Brothers, and in 1956 the company launched an electrically activated reversing edge sensor. The business took the Miller Edge name in 1981, grew with facilities in Pennsylvania and Arizona, and is now run by the second generation of the Miller family.

Miller Edge is known for sensing edges, the pressure-sensitive strips that signal a door or gate to stop and reverse when they contact an obstruction. Its range also covers wireless edge systems, photo eyes, LED warning lights, sensing mats, access control and custom solutions. The products are used on sectional, rolling and hangar doors, slide, swing and barrier arm gates, and transit and plant automation equipment.

Axiom South supplies Miller Edge sensing edges, wireless edge systems, photo eyes and light curtains, MWave and activation products, and VisiLight warning lights. We also carry Miller Edge mounting channels, controllers, electrical and pneumatic components, and seals and bumpers, so gate and door contractors can source safety devices and the parts that mount and connect them alongside the operators they install.
