Fixed Knot Woven Wire
Fixed-knot woven wire is a rigid high-tensile mesh with continuous vertical stays, used for deer, wildlife, cattle, hog, sheep and goat fencing.
About Fixed Knot Woven Wire
Fixed-knot woven wire has continuous vertical stay wires clamped to the horizontal line wires with a fixed knot. The one-piece stay and knot form a rigid, high-strength mesh, and the knot resists unwinding under pressure. Because the stays are solid, fixed-knot fence allows wider post spacing than many other woven wires.
It is the usual recommendation for deer and wildlife fencing and for hog fencing, and it is also used for cattle, goats and sheep. Deer fence should be a minimum of 48 in, with 72 to 120 in recommended, while hog fence runs 34 to 54 in. Stay spacing is commonly 6 in or 12 in, the wire is high-tensile steel and Class 3 zinc is recommended for longer life.
