About Ameristar Gate Hardware
A gate is only as good as its hardware. Ameristar offers powder-coated latches, hinges and handles for wood and ornamental gates, packaged in single and double drive gate kits so one order covers the opening.
Hardware comes in four styles: Maxima, Colonial, Continental and Universal. The design is heavy-duty and reversible, so the same kit can be set up for either swing direction. Gate springs help close the gate, anti-sag kits keep wider gates square over time, and cane bolts (drop rods) hold the inactive leaf of a double gate in place.
Fence contractors use these ornamental gate hardware kits on new gates and to upgrade existing ones, and they pair well with Ameristar fence and gate systems.
