About Ameristar Impasse II
Impasse II is a steel palisade fence built for high-security perimeters. It is offered with standard 3.25 in pale spacing or a 1.5 in anti-scale spacing that deters climbing, and optional expanded metal fillers add delay. Impasse II is SAFETY Act certified and designated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Panels come in 2-rail and 3-rail versions from 6 to 10 ft. Pales are 2.75 in wide 14 ga, rails are 2 x 2 in 11 ga, and I-beam posts are 3 x 2.75 in 12 ga or 4 x 2.75 in 11 ga. Styles are Gauntlet, Trident and Stronghold. The fence is designed to integrate with access control, detection and surveillance, and conduit and cabling can run within it. Ameristar offers a 15-year limited warranty on the powder-coated surface, and 3D installation instructions are available in the BILT app.
