About Ameristar WireWorks Anti-Climb
WireWorks Anti-Climb is a welded wire architectural perimeter fence with anti-scale, anti-cut 3 x 0.5 in mesh. It is built on Impasse II rails and I-beam posts, and conduit and cabling can run within the fence. Ameristar offers a groundable configuration that meets IEEE grounding practice for substation enclosures, and a 3-rail configuration that is IBC-compliant.
Heights are 8 ft (10.5 ga wire) and 10 ft (8 ga wire). Rails are 2 in square 11 ga, and I-beam posts are 3 x 2.75 in or 4 x 2.75 in, 12 ga. The steel is finished with PermaCoat powder coat over pre-galvanized steel with an 11-stage prep and dual top coat. Single-fastener connections make installation up to 40% faster than the prior design, per Ameristar. The powder-coated finish carries a 10-year limited warranty.
