Deckorators Step Treads
Deckorators Step Treads are Voyage solid-edge boards sized for deck stairs, with textured embossing for traction near pools, docks and backyard decks.
About Deckorators Step Treads
Stairs take steady foot traffic, so tread material matters. Deckorators Step Treads are wide Voyage solid-edge boards, 7/8 x 11-1/4 in. x 13 ft, made specifically for stair runs. The textured embossing adds traction, and the stain- and fade-resistant cap keeps the surface looking consistent with the deck.
Colors are Khaya and Tundra from the Voyage line, plus Dark Slate to match Picture Frame Board borders. The treads are rated water and ground safe, have minimal thermal expansion and contraction, and are made in the USA. They are covered by the Deckorators decking warranty, which includes 50-year structural coverage on Surestone decking.
Pair the treads with coordinating fascia, Pro Fastening Systems and deck lighting. Deckorators recommends a sharp carbide-tipped blade for cutting and a clear 2 in. gap between joists and grade. For a quote, count the steps, note stair width and color, and add risers.
