Fortress V2 is a commercial ornamental steel fence with a patented pin-hinge racking system and hidden fasteners, for schools, apartments, churches, subdivisions and retail sites.
About Fortress V2
V2 racks to grade with a patented pin-hinge system that avoids metal-on-metal contact, so per Fortress the racking does not compromise the coating. The hidden pin-hinge leaves no visible fasteners, and smooth rails with a true 3/4 in picket give the commercial steel fence a clean profile.
Seven panel styles come in 2 or 3 rails, 90.5 in wide and 34 to 94 in tall, with rackability of 30 in on an 8 ft panel. Rails are 1-9/16 x 1-3/16 in, 14 gauge. Assurance panels with a 3 in air space are offered for playgrounds, pet areas and pools, and Fortress states pool panels meet ICC pool code at select heights. Walk gates are 4 ft and 5 ft, drive gates 6 ft and 8 ft. Black Sand is standard, Gloss Black optional, with a 20-year limited FortressShield coating warranty listed by Fortress.
