MoistureShield Joist Tape

MoistureShield Joist Tape protects the part of the deck you never see once the boards go down. The woven-cloth tape with acrylic adhesive goes over joists and screw heads to shed moisture and slow corrosion, and it seals around deck screws as they pass through.

It is easy to work with on site. The tape tears by hand, it does not stick to itself, and it can be repositioned without leaving residue. It works on lumber and steel framing and can be applied from -20 F to 200 F. Three widths are available, 2 in, 4 in and 6 in, all in 65 ft rolls, so you can match the tape to the width of the framing member.
