Select Composite Railing (Classic and T-Rail)

Trex Select Composite gives builders two top rail styles. Classic Rail pairs with round aluminum balusters. T-Rail has a grip-friendly T-top profile and pairs with either round aluminum or square composite balusters. Kits are named by combination: Classic Rail and Round Aluminum Baluster, T-Rail and Round Aluminum Baluster, and T-Rail and Square Composite Baluster. Rails are Classic White with Charcoal Black or Classic White balusters, depending on the kit. Post sleeve kits come in Classic White, Charcoal Black, Vintage Lantern and Saddle; Trex notes some sleeve colors are sold only through select retailers, so we confirm availability with your quote.

Heights are 36 and 42 inches, with 6 and 8 foot kits plus 10 foot T-Rail kits at 36 inches. Post sleeves are 4×4, with 6×6 in Classic White only, and an all-in-one post sleeve kit simplifies ordering. Trex offers an 8 foot aluminum T-Rail stiffener for IRC-compliant applications, and cut-rail mounting hardware is available for short sections.

Trex backs Select Composite railing with a 25-year limited residential warranty. For an itemized quote, send the kit style, color, height, number of 6, 8 and 10 foot kits, stair runs, post sleeve count, and whether the T-Rail stiffener is needed.
