Wood Defender

Wood Defender is a line of oil-based wood stains and sealers made for exterior wood such as decks, fences and other outdoor structures. The formula is designed to soak into the wood rather than sit on the surface as a film, and it is offered in both transparent and semi-transparent colors. The line is popular with homeowners and pressure washing and restoration contractors who clean, stain and seal outdoor wood as part of regular upkeep.

The stains repel water, help resist UV exposure and include mildew and fungus inhibitors that slow the gray, weathered look untreated wood develops outdoors. Semi-transparent colors carry more pigment for added UV protection and a richer tone, while transparent colors let more of the natural grain show through. Both suit new or aged wood, and aged wood should be cleaned first. That makes the line a practical fit for humid, sunny climates like the Gulf Coast, where outdoor wood takes a beating.

Axiom South supplies the Wood Defender lineup for deck, fence and outdoor wood projects: Wood Defender Semi-Transparent Stains & Sealants, Wood Defender Transparent Stains & Sealants, and Wood Defender Cleaners & Preparation products for getting the surface ready before you stain. Contractors and homeowners can order them alongside decking, fencing and other materials from Axiom South in Spanish Fort, Alabama, with shipping available to all 50 states.
