About Wood Defender Semi-Transparent Stains & Sealants
Wood Defender 200 Series Semi-Transparent Stain & Seal is built on modified oils and resins that penetrate deeply into the wood. It is water repellent and UV resistant, and it includes anti-mildew and anti-fungal additives that help prevent graying. VOC content is under 100 g/L.
The semi-transparent formula adds more color than a clear or transparent stain while still being a penetrating stain rather than a film. Colors are Black, Charcoal Gray, Coffee Brown, Sierra and Sable Brown, which covers darker modern fence looks as well as traditional browns. It is commonly used on wood fences and works on both vertical and horizontal wood.
