Trex

Trex Company, headquartered in Winchester, Virginia, was founded in 1996 and is known for wood-alternative composite decking. Its roots go back to 1988, when a co-founder began making composite material from recycled plastic and sawdust. Trex composite decking is made from 95 percent recycled and reclaimed materials, including plastic film and scrap wood. The company manufactures in Virginia, Nevada and Arkansas.

Trex has grown from deck boards into a full outdoor living lineup: railing, fascia, cladding, fencing, lighting, fasteners, pergolas, spiral stairs, under-deck drainage, outdoor kitchens and furniture. Its capped boards resist fading, staining and mold and never need staining or sealing. Trex products are used on homes, porches, pool decks and multi-family and commercial projects, and they hold up well in humid coastal climates.

Axiom South supplies Trex Signature, Transcend Lineage, Transcend, Select and Refuge decking, plus Trex Fascia, RainEscape drainage, Spiral Stairs, Pergola and Lattice. Railing options include Signature, Signature X-Series cable and frameless glass, Transcend, Select composite and Select aluminum and mesh. ADA handrail, gates and accessories are also available, along with Trex Fencing, Outdoor Kitchens, Outdoor Furniture, Cornhole, Cladding, Deck Lighting and Hideaway fasteners and tools.
