Roof framing puts connectors at every hip, valley, girder and bearing. Simpson Strong-Tie's roof connector categories include truss plates, truss clips, spacing, restraint and bracing products, truss tiedowns, lateral load transfer and hangers for plated truss. Hurricane ties and rafter-to-wall connectors are covered in the straps and solid sawn lumber lines.

Representative truss hangers include the THAR and THAL adjustable skewed truss hangers, the THASR and THASL adjustable and skewable hangers, the HTU face-mount truss hanger, the HHSUQ heavy severe skew hanger, the LTHMA light-duty multiple-truss hanger and the THJU hip and jack hanger. The TJC jack truss connector, VTCR valley truss clip, WP welded purlin hanger and HRC hip-ridge connector handle other conditions, and the LRUZ and LSSR serve rafters.
