About Trim, Corners & Posts
Trim, corners and post wraps are the finishing pieces that frame cladding and siding. They cover board ends, outside and inside corners, window and door openings, and structural posts so the wall reads as one clean surface. People use them to hide cut edges, shed water away from joints and give a project a finished, built-in look. On porches, outdoor kitchens and coastal homes, low-maintenance trim helps keep paint touch-ups and rot repairs to a minimum.
This page includes Cedar & Wood Trim for real wood that can be painted or stained, plus four Woodtone lines: AbsoluteTrim and RealTrim for boards around openings and edges, RealCorner for outside corners, and RealPost for wrapping posts. Choose by the look you want, whether the trim should match a Woodtone siding or paneling color, and how much finishing you plan to do on site. Cedar is easy to shape and repair, and we can confirm color and finish options for each Woodtone line.
How to choose
- Which cladding or siding line does the trim need to match?
- Do you want trim painted, stained or left in a factory color?
- Count outside corners, inside corners, openings and posts before quoting.
- Will the trim face heavy sun, rain or salt air?
- Do posts need full wraps or just base and cap trim?
- Ask about lead times for matching colors and profiles.
