Simpson Strong-Tie makes connectors for the connections that matter most on a deck or porch: guard posts, ledgers, stairs and lateral deck loads. Families include DTT1 and DTT2 deck tension ties, the DPTZ deck post tie, the DOSCZ deck offset support connector with an extension kit, the LSC adjustable stringer connector, the SCLC stair cassette ledger connector, TA staircase angles, the BVLZ brick veneer ledger connector and ML angles. Guard post connectors cover 36 in and 42 in guard post heights, and Simpson publishes connection details for DCA6 prescriptive decks.
Fence and outdoor structure products include the Pipe Grip Tie for attaching wood fence rails to metal posts, E-Z Base, E-Z Spike and E-Z Mender fence post solutions, and the GT gazebo tie. Finishes include galvanized, ZMAX galvanized, stainless steel on select models and black powder coat on Outdoor Accents versions. Many connections use Strong-Drive structural screws.
