Feeney DesignRail Modern is an aluminum railing with hidden fasteners and a graspable Series 250 top rail, for covered decks, coastal decks and residential stairs.
About DesignRail Modern
Hidden fasteners set DesignRail Modern apart. They sit inside the posts, leaving clean lines on the 6000-series aluminum frame. The finish is AAMA-2604 powder coat, with Coastal White newly added to the ColorEasy range. Per Feeney, the graspable Series 250 top rail is code-compliant for residential stairs.
Rail Kits come in 6 and 8 foot lengths at 36 inches and 6 foot at 42 inches, each with top rail, a pre-drilled intermediate picket and hardware. Post Kits include the post with a pre-attached base plate, cap and mounting screws, and Rail Cut Kits split rail kits into shorter sections. Rails trim to length and stair slope. Rail kits work only with Modern post kits. Infill is 6200 series 1/8 inch CableRail kits for metal posts, sold separately. Add-ons include a Drink Rail Adapter and a plug-and-play LED lighting kit in 25 or 55 foot lengths.
