About Feeney

Feeney, Inc. was founded in 1948, when Jim Feeney opened Feeney Wire Rope and Rigging in Berkeley, California. The company is now based in Oakland and is owned and operated by the Ralston family. In 1988 Feeney introduced its CableRail line of architectural cables and fittings, which helped create the cable railing infill market in the U.S. A Eugene, Oregon facility later developed the aluminum systems now sold as DesignRail.

Feeney is widely recognized for stainless steel cable railing kits that work with wood, metal and composite frames, and for aluminum railing systems that combine frames with cable, glass or picket infill. Its products are used on residential decks, stairs, balconies and docks as well as commercial projects where owners want open views. The company also makes architectural rods, awnings and trellises.

Axiom South supplies Feeney CableRail kits and components, DesignRail Classic, Modern and Custom aluminum railing, DockRail, architectural rod assemblies, the Kerrie Kelly LaserCut Collection, railing accessories, DesignRail aluminum gates and Feeney lighting. For shade and garden structures, Axiom South also supplies Feeney Era and Icon awnings and the Somerset 3-in-1 Trellis.
