About Pro-Finish Oil-Stained Fencing
Staining a new fence on site takes time and weather. Alta Pro-Finish removes that step. The boards are oil stained at the factory, and the stain penetrates the wood to protect against UV. Each board also gets a wax end seal to reduce splitting and checking, and arrives ready to install.
Pro-Finish is offered on two species, Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir (sold as Summit), both 5/8 in thick and made in the USA. Three stain colors are available. Alta backs Pro-Finish with a 10-year warranty. Homeowners get a finished look the day the fence goes up.
