About Alta
Alta Forest Products is a wood fence board manufacturer headquartered in Chehalis, Washington, founded in 2014. It operates cedar manufacturing facilities in Morton, Shelton and Amanda Park, Washington, and Naples, Idaho. Alta sources its wood from managed forests in the Pacific Northwest and makes its boards in the USA.
Alta is known for Western Red Cedar fence boards and a range of treated and pre-stained boards for residential privacy and boundary fencing. Several lines arrive with a factory oil stain and wax-sealed ends that help reduce splitting and checking, saving staining time on the job. Treated options resist insects and decay, and Rightwood Plus adds protection against wood-boring insects, including Formosan termites, which matters in the warm, humid Gulf Coast climate.
Axiom South supplies Alta Western Red Cedar, Summit Douglas Fir (cut thicker for added stability), Altamit pre-stained 3/4 inch boards, Premium Treated, Rightwood, Rightwood Plus and Pro-Finish oil-stained fencing. These boards are available through Axiom South for homeowners and fence contractors who want real wood fencing, from budget-friendly stained pickets to premium cedar and fir.
