Envision Composite Cladding
Envision Composite Cladding turns Distinction and Expression deck boards into open-joint or rainscreen wall cladding for architects, builders and homeowners designing modern facades.
About Envision Composite Cladding
Envision Composite Cladding uses the Distinction and Expression full-profile boards, built with Compress Technology: an EverGrain core under a high-density cap. Each board has a non-repeating grain and its own color blend, which gives a wall the varied look of natural wood without the weathering.
Envision lists seven cladding colors: Grey Wood, Rustic Walnut, Shaded Auburn and Spiced Teak in Distinction, and Caribou Brown, Harbor Grey and Woodland Bark in Expression. Ask us for current options. Boards are 1 x 6 nominal (7/8 x 5-1/2 in. actual) with a square edge in 12, 16 and 20 ft lengths. They resist staining, splintering, cracking, insects and rot, and need no sanding, staining or sealing. Per Envision, the cladding carries a 25-year residential and commercial limited warranty with a 5-year full start period.
The product is nonstructural and installs horizontally or vertically over a ventilated rainscreen following Envision's instructions. For a quote, send wall dimensions, orientation, color choice and preferred board lengths.
