About Architectural Rod Assemblies
Feeney architectural rod assemblies arrive made to order and ready to install. Each is type 316 stainless steel with a satin finish, built for tension or compression, and shipped assembled with anti-seize on the threads. Length is adjusted by spinning the rod itself, with machined wrench flats and no turnbuckles, which keeps the look clean.
Rod diameters are 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch. Adjustment equals the rod diameter at each end, so a 1/2 inch rod adjusts plus or minus 1/2 inch per end and plus or minus 1 inch total. Rods over 12 feet require rod connectors. End fittings and parts include Tension Fork fittings, conical nuts and double headed clevis pins. Common uses are glass curtain wall and door canopy supports, overhead awnings, guardrail balusters and trellis infill grids. Feeney backs the assemblies with a 10-year warranty.
Assemblies are measured center pin to center pin at mid-adjustment. For a quote, send each rod's diameter, that measurement, end fittings and quantity.
