HySecurity StrongArm
HySecurity StrongArm is a hydraulic barrier arm operator for parking, commercial access and multi-lane traffic control, offered in five models for arms from 14 to 36 ft.
About HySecurity StrongArm
StrongArm is HySecurity's heavy-use barrier arm operator. A 3/4 hp hydraulic drive in a welded 10-gauge sheet-metal chassis supports up to 2,000 cycles per day, depending on arm length, battery and conditions. The Smart Touch Controller provides 70+ field-adjustable settings, and UPS battery-backup models keep operating during power outages.
The StrongArm14F handles 14 ft lighted aluminum arms with a breakaway mount and kill switch, opening in 2 seconds. The StrongArm20 takes side-mount arms to 18 ft or center yoke arms to 20 ft. The StrongArm28 and StrongArmDOT28 reach 28 ft, the DOT version with a breakaway bracket, and the StrongArm36 runs aluminum-fiberglass arms to 36 ft. Counterweights are required for arms 20 ft or longer, and arms 30 ft or longer need a cable tensioner and arm stabilizer kit.
Power can be a DC supply or AC with HyInverter AC for backup. For a quote, give lane width, arm length and material, daily traffic and power.
