HySecurity WedgeSmart DC
HySecurity WedgeSmart DC is a surface-mounted hybrid wedge-and-arm barrier for hostile vehicle mitigation, fleet protection and vehicle access control lanes.
About HySecurity WedgeSmart DC
WedgeSmart DC combines a crash-rated wedge and a traffic arm in one surface-mounted unit, with the wedge and arm operating independently. Per the manufacturer, it is crash rated to ASTM F2656 SC40 (2,430 lb at 40 mph) and FS30 (4,630 lb at 30 mph).
It fits 9, 10, 12 or 14 ft lanes, with a 21 in. wedge plate for 9-10 ft lanes and 18 in. for 12-14 ft lanes, raised to 45 degrees. The wedge cycles 5 seconds up and 5 down on dual 24V DC power and is rated for continuous duty. Features include an integrated red/green traffic light, an LED-lit arm with reflective tape and resilient bumpers, manual locking with a rotary crank, and a zinc-plated chassis and wedge plate.
Arm choices are 9 or 10 ft aluminum or articulating arms with a HyProtect breakaway bracket and kill switch. Options include UPS (up to 150 cycles), arm lights and a Hy5B vehicle detector. For a quote, send lane width, handing and arm preference.
