About Adhesive Anchoring Systems
Simpson Strong-Tie adhesive anchors bond threaded rod or rebar into drilled holes in concrete and masonry. They are used across infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential projects, from setting rebar dowels in a slab extension to anchoring rod into a brick or block wall.
Three main formulas are offered. SET-3G is a high-strength epoxy, ET-3G is an epoxy, and AT-3G is a high-strength hybrid acrylic. The epoxy formulas work in concrete and brick with threaded rod, rebar and smooth dowels, while the acrylic formulas cure fast, even in water-saturated concrete. Accessories include piston plugs, rod end centering caps and glued-in-rod retaining caps, plus carbide drill bits. Simpson's Adhesive Cartridge Estimator web app helps estimate how many cartridges a job needs.
