Mechanical Anchors
Simpson Strong-Tie mechanical anchors, including Titen HD screw anchors, Titen Turbo screws, Strong-Bolt 2 wedge anchors and drop-in anchors, for concrete and masonry.
About Mechanical Anchors
Mechanical anchors are the go-to for attaching ledgers, posts, equipment and brackets to concrete and masonry when adhesive is not required. Simpson Strong-Tie organizes them into screw anchors, expansion anchors, light-duty anchors and accessories.
The Titen HD is a heavy-duty screw anchor, and the Titen Turbo is a concrete and masonry screw for lighter attachments. The Strong-Bolt 2 is a wedge anchor, and the DIA and DIAB are drop-in anchors. Base materials include concrete, brick, and hollow and grouted CMU. Select anchors are tested for cracked concrete, and stainless steel versions are available for corrosive locations.
These anchors show up on infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential work. Anchor type, diameter and embedment should follow the project's engineering. For a quote, list anchor model, diameter, length, finish and quantity, plus drill bits if needed.
