DoorKing Barrier Gate Operators
DoorKing 1601 and 1602 barrier gate operators control parking lot and garage lanes, with the 1601 sized for single lanes and the 1602 for wide lanes.
About DoorKing Barrier Gate Operators (1601, 1602 Parking Gates)
For parking control, a barrier arm is often faster and simpler than a full gate. The DoorKing 1601 and 1602 barrier gate operators both use 1/2 HP continuous-duty motors inside a 12-gauge G90 galvanized housing painted white, and both reverse to full up on obstruction.
The 1601 handles single-lane traffic with a 2" x 2" PVC arm up to 12 ft or a 1" x 4" wood arm up to 14 ft, raising 90 degrees in 1.5 seconds. The 1602 covers wide lanes with a three-piece wishbone wood arm up to 20 ft and a 3 second arm speed. Cabinets measure 38" x 15" x 14.75" (1601) and 38" x 15" x 15.75" (1602). Power options include 115 V single phase, 230 V single or three phase, and 460 V three phase.
Both work with card readers, RF transmitters and ticket machines. For a quote, list lane width, arm type, voltage and add-ons such as a battery backup DC drive, heater and fan kits, breakaway or lighted arms, or traffic control spikes.
