About DoorKing Power, Solar & Backup
Power outages should not leave residents stuck behind a gate. The DoorKing Model 1000 backup power inverter keeps a single gated access control system running through AC outages and brownouts. It delivers 1,000 W continuous, pure sine wave 120 VAC at 60 Hz with 90% efficiency, and ships with two 12 V 35 Ah sealed lead-acid batteries.
The Model 1000 powers one 1 HP or two 1/2 HP gate operators with PSC motors only. It offers selectable power-out, quick-open and low-battery modes, a low-battery alarm at 10.5 V with shutdown at 9.5 V, and overload, short-circuit and over-temperature protection. The cabinet measures 13 x 21 x 8 in and weighs about 83 lb with batteries. Options include a post mount kit, battery cable set and additional 1801-005 batteries.
The line also includes transformers, surge suppressors, time clocks and solar-powered control boxes and panels. DoorKing advises sizing power requirements and backup runtime before ordering, so share your operator models, motor type and site power when requesting a quote.
