About Viking Slide Gate Operators
Viking Slide Gate Operators are DC-motor slide gate openers rated by maximum gate weight and length. The H10-SPS handles up to 2,200 lbs and 75 ft, the L3-SPS up to 1,600 lbs and 60 ft, and both are for residential and commercial use. The K2-SPS covers up to 700 lbs and 30 ft and is residential only, listed as UL Class 1.
All three move the gate at 12 in per second and operate from -20 F to 160 F. The Smart Positioning System (SPS) detects gate position regardless of power status and keeps limits after manual operation. Other features include true battery backup, the V-Flex control board with an LCD diagnostic display, built-in heaters on the L-3 and K-2, and in-unit lightning and surge protection rated 10,000 A / 20,000 V. The H-10 and L-3 have a removable power supply box with a low-voltage option.
